Van Nuys crash leaves one person critical

Firefighters extricated one person from the wreckage of a two-vehicle crash Sunday evening in Van Nuys and took the victim to a local trauma center in critical condition.
Los Angeles firefighters responded at 6:08 p.m. to the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Saticoy Street and extricated the critical victim from a Nissan sedan.
The victim’s age and gender were unavailable. No other injuries were reported.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division was investigating the crash, said a photographer at the scene.
