K-pop superstars BTS announce four nights of concerts at SoFi Stadium

BTS, the wildly popular South Korean boy band, announced Monday it will finally return to Southern California with four shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood in November and December.

The K-pop superstars had been slated to play the Rose Bowl in 2020 before the pandemic first postponed and then canceled those dates.

In the interim, the new SoFi Stadium opened, and now will host BTS on Nov. 27-28 and Dec. 1-2. A month or so earlier, on Oct. 24, the band will play a live-streaming concert they’re calling BTS Permission To Dance On Stage.

Ticket sales are designed to give those who had tickets to the canceled 2020 tour Map of the Soul — North America, first dibs on the SoFi shows, followed by members of the BTS Army fan club.

It’s a little bit complicated, so pay close attention to the ticket presales and general sale schedule:

Oct. 2: Presale registration begins at 6 p.m.

Oct. 5: Those who purchased VIP tickets for the 2020 Map of the Soul tour can purchase tickets starting at 3 p.m.

Oct. 6: Those who’d bought regular tickets for the 2020 Map of the Soul tour get their shot at the new shows starting at 3 p.m.

Oct. 7: BTS Army fan club members can buy tickets starting at 3 p.m.

Oct. 8: General verified fans presale begins at 3 p.m.

Oct. 9: General public ticket sales begin at 3 p.m.

All shows will follow the national and regional health regulations in place at the time they take place.
