Wescom Credit Union is marking the arrival of Daylight Savings Time on Sunday, March 14, by treating people who can drag themselves out of bed early with free coffee.

The Pasadena-based financial institution is partnering with Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf to pick up the tab for customers at 22 locations throughout Southern California.

The promotion kicks in as soon as the doors open and will cover as much as $15 per transaction until $2,000 worth of tabs are paid, according to a news release.

This is the seventh year Wescom has done what it calls #WescomKindness Daylight Saving Time event.

Sunday is also Pi Day, which comes with its own set of money-saving promotions.
