Award-winning Calabasas home seeks $6 million

A modern Saddle Peak home that was the recipient of an award-winning transformation completed in 2018 has come on the market at just under $6 million.
The four-bedroom, four-bathroom residence — dubbed Saddle Peak Glass House — features glass walls, airy interiors and an open-concept floor plan with a modern, white spiral staircase.
Brian Wickersham of Aux Architecture helmed the redo of the former 1965 tract-style home into a custom home by staying in the confines of the existing footprint and rooflines. The project earned the firm a Citation Award from the American Institute of Architects/San Fernando Valley Chapter in 2019.
An oversized island embedded with appliances, a built-in banquet and an eat-in counter separates the kitchen from the main living space in the great room.
Floor-to-ceiling glass blurs the line between indoors and out and opens to the resort-style pool with a waterfall and a Baja shelf.
Glass walls in the upstairs primary suite bring in light and frame the surrounding canyons and mountains views. There’s a drop-down TV in the ceiling of the bedroom. And in the spa-inspired bathroom, a large freestanding tub takes centerstage from its glass nook.
Brian Evans of Real Estate Source has the listing.
