Authorities investigating hazmat incident at City Hall in Los Angeles
Authorities with the Los Angeles Fire Department, LAPD and the LAPD HazMat Units are investigating reports of an unknown white powder found in City Hall East’s first floor mail room.
The calls came in just before 2 p.m.
Two patients are being evaluated for unknown medical complaints at this time. Sky5 was above the scene as crews investigated the scene inside the building.
No evacuations have been reported, but authorities have shut down Los Angeles Street between Temple and First streets as authorities continue to investigate the incident.
