Which UCLA players might get picked and when

Here’s a look at the UCLA players who might be selected this week in the NFL draft, which is Thursday to Saturday:

Osa Odighizuwa

Position: Defensive tackle

Year: Redshirt senior

Size: 6-foot-2, 280 pounds

Possible round: 3-4

What they’re saying: “Odighizuwa has experience playing in just about every alignment imaginable, so he could be ahead of the game from a playbook standpoint. He plays with excellent first-step quickness and good bend that gives him the early advantage as a gap worker and pass rusher. He lacks the mass and anchor strength to handle NFL power as a full-time interior defender.” — NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein.

“He gets really good burst off the football as a shade technique with UCLA’s defense and really causes the double teams that he gets because of it and combined with his power he can really collapse the pocket.” — CBS Sports’ Emory Hunt.

Demetric Felton

Position: RB/WR

Year: Redshirt senior

Size: 5-foot-9, 189 pounds

Possible round: 5-6

What they’re saying: “He is above average in the route running aspect of his game. He is consistently effective on those Texas routes that could yield itself to him being a full-time slot receiver. But he also has some whipple with him if you want to hand him the football.” — CBS Sports’ Emory Hunt.

“Hybrid talent with experience as both a runner and volume pass-catcher who might be targeted to make a full-time transition to the receiver position. Felton’s Senior Bowl week showed off improved route running and an ability to compete against press. … With an ability to carry the ball, catch the ball and return kicks, Felton offers scheme and roster flexibility that could push him up the board.” — NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein.
